The Boeing 737 MAX is the fourth generation of the Boeing 737, featuring CFM LEAP-1B engines that deliver 14% better fuel efficiency than the previous 737 NG. First flying in January 2016 and entering service in May 2017, the MAX family has become Boeing's fastest-selling airplane. The MAX 8 is the most popular variant, seating 162–210 passengers with a range of 3,550 nmi.
